While getting a car ride 3 miles into downtown Denver, the traffic along one of the main roads backed up so much along Speer Blvd that we tried to take a detour. Unfortunately, a perimeter has been created along the next exit (Colfax Blvd) and we had to ask an officer in order to turn into the street leading into the Sheraton Hotel.Police with riot gear and paramedics patrolling along the downtown are all over place. It's a lot busier today than it was yesterday. In order to get into any major event, you need to have one of the credentials shown below.
